Bingo Gazingo (Murray Wachs) - Died 1-1-2010 in New York, NY, U.S. - Hit by a cab - Born 6-2-1924 in Queens, NY, U.S. - Poet, singer and composer - (He did, "Oh Madonna (You Stole My Pants").

Cor Aaftink - Died 1-1-2010 in Heemstede, Noord-Holland province, The Netherlands - Born 8-9-1934 in Amsterdam - Record producer and lyricist - Co-founder of the production company Corduroy who produced BZN.

Max Salpeter - Died 1-1-2010 - Born 4-16-1908 in Whitechapel - Orchestra leader and violinist - Worked with The London Symphony Orchestra, The RAF Symphony Orchestra, The Prometheus Ensemble, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, The Beatles and Lena Horne - He was married to ballet dancer, Mollie Hamilton McNeill Mitchell.

Bobby Burnett - Died 1-2-2010 - Illness ( Pop - Standards ) He was 71 years old - Sang, played harmonica and was a comedian - (He did remakes of "Smile" and "When It's All Said And Done").

Tony Clarke - Died 1-4-2010 - Born 1941 in Coventry - Producer and guitarist - (He wrote Malcolm Roberts', "Our Song") - He was a a session musician for Decca Records - Produced The Moody Blues, The Equals, Providence, Clannad, Pinkerton's Colours, Rick Wakeman, Nicky Hopkins and The Four Tops.

Gigi Campi (Pierluigi Campi) - Died 1-6-2010 in Cologne, Germany - Born 12-15-1928 in Cologne, Germany - Producer and concert promoter - Founder of Mod Records and Old Records - His labels released recordings by Hans Koller, Jutta Hipp and Attila Zoller - He was instrumental in the formation of The Kenny Clarke/Francy Boland Big Band which he managed.

Kamal Mahsud - Died 1-7-2010 in Islamabad - From injuries due to gas leakage in his room ( Pashto Folk ) Singer - (He did, "Tum Chalay Aaw, Da Ghroona Ghroona Waziristan").

Eric Shark (Thomas Sam Davis) - Died 1-7-2010 - Lung disease ( Rock ) He was 59 years old - Singer - Was a member of Deaf School (They did, "Taxi" and "Thunder And Lightning").

Robert Clayton Boyte - Died 1-7-2010 ( Honk Tonk ) He was 68 years old - Drummer and singer - Worked with Moe Bandy, Bubba Littrell And The Melody Mustangs, Country Jams, Hang Tree County, Nashville Sounds, SBJ and Slim Roberts And The Texas Weather Band.

Ned Theall - Died 1-8-2010 - Stomach aneurysm ( Swamp Pop - R&B ) He was 72 years old - Played trumpet - Was a member of The Boogie Kings.

Artur Beul - Died 1-9-2010 in Einsiedeln, Kanton Schwyz, Switzerland ( Pop ) Born 12-9-1915 in Kusnacht, Kanton Zurich, Switzerland - Songwriter and painter - Worked with Geschwister Schmid, Lys Assia and Hans Albers - The Andrews Sisters did a cover of one his songs reworking it into, "When A Swiss Boy Goes Calling To A Swiss Miss In June" - He had been married to singer, Lale Andersen.

Woody Cunningham (Woodrow Cunningham) - Died 1-9-2010 in Bowie, Maryland, U.S. ( Soul ) Born 7-8-1948 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. - Drummer and singer - (He did, "Never Say Never" and "Universal Love") - Was a member of Pipeline, The Jam, The Universal Robot Band and Kleeer (They did, "Intimate Connection" and "Get Tough") - Worked with The Tempros, The Young Vandals, Sylvester, Faith, Hope & Charity, Disco Tex & The Sexolettes, Candido, Luther Vandross and The Choice Four.

Jayne Walton Rosen - Died 1-10-2010 in San Antonio, Texas, U.S. - Born 8-28-1917 in San Antonio, Texas, U.S. - Singer - Worked with Lawrence Welk.

Eddie Edgehill (Edward Edgehill) - Died 1-13-2010 in Philadelphia, PA, U.S. - After suffering a heart attack ( R&B ) Born 6-6-1935 in New York City, NY, U.S. - Singer - Was a member of The Val-Tones, The Valentines (They did, "Lily Maebelle" and "Woo Woo Train") and The Orientals (They did, "Can't You Hear The Bells" and "Lonesome") who changed  their name to The Del-Knights (They did, "One, Two, Button My Shoe" and "Compensation") - Worked with Terry Johnson's Modern Flamingos -  Managed The Sweet Delights that included his wife, Gerylane Edgehill as a member.

Jim Korthe - Died 1-13-2010 in San Pedro, CA, U.S. ( Rap - Metal ) He was 39 years old - Singer and drummer - Was a member of 3rd Strike (They did, "Into Hell Again" and "No Light"), Phantasm (They did, "The Blind Leading The Blind" and "Blown To Oblivion") and The Dimestore Hoods (They did, "Old Man Inside" and "Blood in My Eyes").
